Woke up a little early to see Dudley off as he heads home to northern Minnesota. Mighty chilly today with a high of 25F and some good winds. Snow on and off throughout the day, doing it's lovely dance across the plains. Most flakes fly across the landscape horizontally, but some lightly hop about in all directions. Spent a relaxed day inside reading, cleaning, and painting. Working on a new painting of an area I spent time at in the Palmer Creek unit of the park. Had Gary and Ed over in the evening for dinner and some entertaining conversations. We may start a business inventing new instruments. I cooked shepherd's pie which turned out fairly well in my limited kitchen.
