Badlands Residency Day 31

Headed out to hike the Castle Trail today.  Beautiful weather made the five mile trek much more enjoyable than my last time, when it was 102 degrees and sweltering.  We poked around the top side of one of the many canyons, this one I had climbed up from below with the group from the Calhoun School two years ago, and so gave it the unofficial name of Calhoun Canyon.  Erosion has drastically changed the rim of this canyon in the past two years.  We spent some time scrambling around the buttes above, looking at the many fossils in the area.  After returning home, we decided on a group dinner and spent some time playing catch and listening to music while enjoying the nice weather.
