Badlands Residency Day 33

Woke up early, walked around taking some photographs, then headed back for a quick breakfast.  Decided to break camp and hike out, then head to Sheep Mountain to explore the site of an old wagon trail.  Failed to find the way down, but enjoyed climbing around the buttes and watching the clouds play over the layers of buttes.  After hiking more than 13 miles in the last two days, we were feeling a little tired and decided to drive up to Wall for some groceries.  Spent the afternoon looking through photographs, old and new, and cooked dinner.  Visited with a couple friends briefly before heading in for an early-ish night.

Pre-sunrise on the buttes.

The other two buried cars.

This one appears to be a truck.
