Badlands National Park Day 15

Last night's rain cancelled the ferret spotlighting, but I stayed up until 5am, trying to get onto a night schedule so I'm ready.  I slept in until around 1pm, but the last four hours of that was rather fidgety because of the bright sunlight shining through the blinds.  After spending a little time on photographs I went out for an evening hike with a great friend.  Getting ready to head out for ferrets tonight!

Badlands National Park Day 14

I am planning to go out with wildlife biologists to spotlight the highly endangered black footed ferrets this week, and in anticipation of working from 9pm to 6am, have been attempting to adjust my sleep schedule.  I managed to stay up until 4am last night and sleep until about 11 this morning.  Because of that and the rainy windy weather, I didn't accomplish much today besides organizing photographs and cooking a nice meal for friends.  Alas, the rain cancelled the ferret outing for tonight.  With no real photographs from today, I will instead link to a website with information on these ferrets.  Crossing my fingers for tomorrow night!
